BY CAR
Florence city.
From Florence city, follow the sites leading to
Siena. On the way, you will see Porta Romana. Follow
the signs for Poggio Imperiale, going to S. Felicita
a Ema and Impruneta.
After
passing Pozzolatico, Mezzomonte and Monteoriolo,
take a right at Via Riboia. 50 meters ahead you will
see the entrance to Podere le cave, located at
number 6 to 8, Via Riboia. It is the third gate on
your right hand side.
Autostrada del Sole (A1) exit Firenze-Certosa.
If you are traveling on the Autostrade del Sole
(A1), make sure to exit at Firenze-Certosa. Or if
you are traveling on the main road of Superstrada
Siena-Firenze, make sure to exit from Firenze. In
both routes, you have to follow the signs leading to
Greve in Chianti. Keep watch of the village
Tavarnuzze and take the left road to Impruneta.
Again,
you should pass the village of Pozzolatico. Take the
road leanding to Monteoriolo (located 2.7 kms away
for Pozzolatico) and take a left at Via Riboia. Look
got the third gate on the right and you should see
the gate leading to Podere le cave.
BY TRAIN
From the train station Santa Marina Novella in Florence, you have to take a company bus CAP.
The bus you have to take says "IMPRUNETA POZZOLATICO" tell the bus driver to alert you to the via Riboia in Monte Oriolo
when you get off the bus, turn back to via Riboia, turn left, walk past the third gate, continue the brick walls, Podere le Cave is further down on your right when you
see push the buzzer to let you in a gravel road and you are it a fantastic tuscan place to stay (this said Susan from USA).

If you are coming from the airport of Florence, you can take an ATAF bus to the Santa Maria Novella train station. From the train station Santa Marina Novella in Florence, you have to take a company bus CAP.
